Privacy policy

Last updated: September 17, 2026

The short version: your photos are used only to create your coloring page. We don't sell them, we don't share them, we don't use them for anything else. Where and how the conversion runs is spelled out below, along with everything else we collect (and why).

1. Your photos

Photos you convert are used for one purpose only: generating your coloring page. They are never sold, never shared, and never used to train any model. We do not read or transmit EXIF data (such as location) contained in your photos. How the conversion is performed today:

Right now, the conversion runs entirely inside your browser on your own device — your photo is not uploaded to our servers, not stored by us, and not visible to us. When you close the page, the photo and the generated page are gone from memory.

As we introduce smarter AI features, some conversions may be processed on our servers to deliver higher quality results. If and when that happens, this section — and this page's "last updated" date — will change first, clearly explaining what is transmitted, how long it is kept, and how it is protected. We won't make that switch silently.

2. Analytics

We collect basic, anonymized usage data — things like page views, which features are used, browser type, and approximate region — to understand how the site is used and how to make it better. This data is aggregated and cannot identify you, and it never includes your photos or file names.

3. Advertising

ColoringPocket currently shows no ads and is not funded by advertising. If that ever changes, this section will be updated before any ad technology is activated — including any new cookies it might use.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use a small amount of browser local storage (not a cookie) to remember your paper size and quality preferences between visits. This stays on your device, is never sent to us, and can be cleared any time via your browser settings.

5. Children's privacy

ColoringPocket is a general-audience tool, not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone — there are no accounts and nothing to sign up for. Parents and teachers can use the tool with children; your family's photos are used only to make the coloring page you asked for, nothing else.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time as the service evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date at the top.
